Living in Tampa requires a love of brunch. One of the best places to enjoy a large stack of ricotta pancakes while sipping on a Buddy Brew latte is none other than Oxford Exchange. If you are a Tampa native then you know exactly what I’m talking about. Walking into Oxford Exchange is like walking into Neverland, there really is no other place like it.

Escaping the summer heat is easy to do as you enter the front entrance of Oxford Exchange. You are immediately greeted by the pastel colors of hardback books and the smell of fresh espresso. I always take a look around the ever-growing book collection and the trendy sunglasses that line the walls.

The next stop on your OE journey should be the Buddy Brew coffee bar. The ambiance is incredible and the baristas know everything about coffee.  My Oxford Exchange experience always includes a regular latte with skim milk. The robust flavors of the coffee are overwhelming in the best way.

The design of OE reminds me of something you may find in alternate reality trendy Harry Potter novel where Hermione is a British Lifestyle blogger who opened up an eatery with Gordon Ramsey. From the black and white patterned floor to the oil paintings that adorn the polished walls, Oxford Exchange is the perfect location for every blogger’s photo needs.

Then there is the food. At a bit of higher priced brunch than many other places in Tampa you would hope that the food is worth it. Well, it is. From the Ricotta Pancakes adorned with lemon cream and sweet toasted almonds to the Lobster Sliders that melt in your mouth, everything is amazing. The service is of the highest quality, as are the mimosas.
