20 minute Salmon

After a long weekend fearing and preparing for Hurricane Irma, I realized that my meals consisted of canned beans, crackers and packaged snacks. After 5 days of food that’s not so fresh, I was thrilled to finally pick up a fresh salmon from the market today. The recipe below is quick, easy and absolutely delicious. Perfect for cooking a healthy meal while managing a busy schedule.


2 fresh salmon fillets

1 lemon

Garlic salt



Fresh asparagus

Steps for Salmon:

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

2. Spray pam on a baking sheet

3. Cut lemons in half and squeeze fresh lemon juice on both fillets

4. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on fillets

5. Dice small pieces of butter and place on the top of the fillet

6. Bake for 15 minutes

Steps for Asparagus:

1. Spray baking sheet with pam

2. Cut asparagus into shorter portions

4. Place on baking sheet

5. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper

6. Bake for 15 minutes

7. Asparagus will be crispy like a healthy fry!
