Asian-style Meatballs

I love modifying recipes for my family to try. Meatballs with marinara sauce has become a staple on our dinner menu. I wanted to try a twist on one of our favorite dishes. Asian-style meatballs is now a household hit and absolutely delicious! I promise every bit is packed with flavor.



  • Chopped yellow onion
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Garlic salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup brown sugar



  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Combine ground beef, egg, garlic salt, pepper, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, flour, bread crumbs, and brown sugar
  3. Mix until all ingredients are combined
  4. Add chopped yellow onions and mix thoroughly
  5. Roll beef into small balls and place on a large baking sheet
  6. Bake for 35 minutes
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle a small amount of soy sauce on top of the meatballs
  8. Bake for 5 minutes
  9. Remove from oven and enjoy!
