Gluten Free Peppermint Cream Cheese Cake

If the name of this dessert drove you to this recipe, then you are in for a real treat! This cake is the perfect dessert to kick off your New Years festivities. What better way to celebrate 2018 than with fireworks for your taste buds? Grab your kitchen mixer and let’s get baking!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 jar cream cheese icing
  • 1 tsp. organic vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large stick of softened butter
  • ½ cup of crushed peppermint
  • Red sprinkles

 

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine cake mix, vanilla, eggs and butter with electric mixer until smooth
  • Spray pan with butter spray and add cake mix
  • Bake for 30 minutes until golden
  • Let cake cool for 20 minutes
  • Frost with the cream cheese icing
  • Add peppermint and sprinkles for a festive flare
  • Enjoy!
