Split pea, coconut and spinach soup

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today I wanted to whip up a recipe that would be perfect for a day full of shamrocks and all things green. 🍀

 

Enter delicious green split peas, spinach and coconut all mixed together into a warm and rich soup topped with sour cream and chili powder. Everyday Dal is organic, vegan and full of plant based protein. Tasted like a bowl full of luck! 🍵🌈✨

 

Ingredients:

– 1 package split pea Maya Kamal Foods – Everyday Dal

– 1/4 cup skim milk

– 2 tablespoons sour cream

– 2 teaspoons chili powder

 

Steps:

1. Add package ingredients to sauce pan and set heat to medium

2. Stir until smooth

3. Slowly pour in milk

4. Continue to stir until smooth

5. Add soup to bowl and top with sour cream and chili powder
