Gluten Free Cake Doughnuts

Who loves doughnuts? This girl does! There’s nothing better than finding a dessert recipe that actually works. This week I’ve had a major sweet tooth and thought the only remedy would be a sprinkle doughnut. This is my first time trying to make such a delicious treat, but it worked. Follow along with the recipe below and let me know your thoughts!



  • 3 cups of gluten free flour
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cup of skim milk
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Doughnut pan


For topping:

  • 2 cups of melted white chocolate
  • Rainbow sprinkles



  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Pull out the electric mixer
  3. Combine flour, eggs and butter into large mixing bowl and mix until smooth
  4. Add remaining doughnut ingredients to the large mixing bowl and being to mix until smooth
  5. Add mixture to pipping bag (or a Ziploc bag with a small cut at the bottom corner)
  6. Squeeze filling into a sprayed doughnut pan
  7. Bake for 9 minutes until golden brown
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes
  9. Dip one side of the cooled doughnut in the with chocolate
  10. Top with sprinkles
  11. Pour a glass of milk and enjoy!
